NCSI Conducts Oman Consumer Confidence Survey

The National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) is pressing ahead with the ’43rd Consumer Confidence Survey’, now being conducted over the 3rd quarter of 2024.

The survey, which targets Omani citizens aged more than 18 years, will include a minimum of 1,500 citizens from Oman governorates. It takes into account the proportions of males, females, age groups and different educational levels. Data will be collected via telephone calls, among other methods.

The survey aims to measure factors of significance to the economy in Oman, including families’ financial status, future projections of the economy and the availability of job opportunities.
