Muscat: The National University of Science and Technology today received its institutional accreditation certificate from Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education.

According to Oman News Agency, the University had applied for institutional accreditation which initiated the formation of an external review team by the Authority. This team conducted interviews with more than 362 individuals, including representatives from governance bodies, university staff, students, and some external stakeholders. Additionally, the team reviewed a range of supporting evidence and materials.

Following these procedures, the Authority granted the university its standard accreditation. This achievement allows the university to join the ranks of higher education institutions accredited by the Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education.
