Muscat: Nama electricity supply company today organized a forum on cost-reflective tariff (CRT) set against electricity services for major subscribers.
The forum was aimed at highlighting the most important developments in CRT and related services, enhancing partnership to build a sustainable economy and keeping stakeholders up-to-date with all matters of relevance to subscriber satisfaction.
The forum covered various aspects of CRT, including the concept of cost-reflective tariffs, available options and the advantages of each option.
Nama presented the best practices that help the subscriber ensure the optimal use of electrical energy through the adoption of necessary measures. To outline options for calculating the monthly electricity consumption bill, the company launched an interactive simulation service for CRT to help subscribers choose the most appropriate options that match their pattern of electrical energy consumption.
The forum was attended by representatives of government and private establish
ments, stakeholders and investors who own projects with high consumption of electrical energy.
