Muscat:Muscat Municipality has entered into an agreement with Pioneer Technical Services Company, a subsidiary of ITHCA Group, to implement the Unified Municipal System project.
According to Oman News Agency, the agreement was signed by Eng. Ahmed Said Al Amri, Chairman of Muscat Municipality, and Eng. Talib Hamoud Al Rashdi, Acting CEO of ITHCA Group. The project aims to unify municipal services across various governorates in Oman through an integrated digital platform. This platform will encompass services such as building permits and lease contracts, streamlining processes and improving service quality.
Eng. Ahmed Said Al Amri emphasized that this initiative is a strategic step towards enhancing the municipal work ecosystem by automating procedures, thereby facilitating faster and easier transaction completion for beneficiaries. The project aligns with the targets of Oman Vision 2040, focusing not only on service development but also on building a unified data ecosystem to support decision-making and urban planning.
Eng. Talib Hamoud Al Rashdi highlighted that this project is part of ongoing government efforts to accelerate digital transformation, aiming to significantly improve digital services in the municipal sector across Oman's governorates.
