Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) main index closed higher today, increasing by 0.19 percent. The MSX 30 Index concluded the trading session at 5,956.33 points, registering a rise of 11.5 points from the previous close of 5,944.80 points. According to Oman News Agency, total trading turnover reached RO 40,264,404, reflecting an increase of 37.1 percent compared to the previous session's value of RO 29,362,140. MSX market report noted that the overall market capitalization went up by 0.215 percent from the last trading day to approximately RO 32.22 billion. The trading activity of non-Omani investors saw purchases worth RO 4,792,000, representing 11.90 percent of the total market activity. Their sales amounted to RO 3,359,000, accounting for 8.34 percent. This resulted in a net investment inflow of RO 1,432,000 from non-Omani investors, marking an increase of 3.56 percent.
