Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) general index (30) today lost 8.8 points, comprising a decline by 0.20% to close at 4443.87 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 4452.67 points.

According to Oman News Agency, the trading value today stood at RO 2,235,949, comprising a rise by 44.3%, compared to the last session, which stood at RO 1,549,588. The report released by MSX pointed out that the market value went down by 0.073% to reach about RO 27.29 billion.

The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached RO 341,000, comprising 15.27%. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached RO 528,000, comprising 23.61%. The net non-Omani investment fell by 8.34% to RO 187,000.
