Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 index today closed at 4,570.79 points, marking an increase of 5.6 points or 0.12 percent from the previous trading session's close of 4,565.23 points.

According to Oman News Agency, the trading value today surged to RO 15,494,130, reflecting a 56.3 percent increase compared to the last session's trading value of RO 9,913,748. This uptick in trading activity was accompanied by a rise in market capitalization, which grew by 0.246 percent to approximately RO 27.96 billion.

Additionally, non-Omani investors were active in the market, recording purchases worth RO 2,190,000, which accounted for 14.14 percent of the total trading volume. Their sales amounted to RO 1,904,000, representing 12.29 percent of total trading. As a result, the net investment by non-Omani investors increased by RO 286,000, or 1.85 percent.
