MSX 30 Index Falls by 8.7 Points Amid Decrease in Trading Volume


Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index today closed at 5090.08 points, marking a drop of 8.7 points or 0.17% from the previous session’s close of 5098.81 points.



According to Oman News Agency, the trading value reached RO 27,073,245, reflecting a 13.7% decrease compared to the last session’s RO 31,360,632. The MSX report indicated that the market value saw a decline of 0.018%, settling at approximately RO 30.07 billion.



Non-Omani investors recorded purchases worth RO 817,000, accounting for 3.02% of the total trading volume, while sales by foreign investors reached RO 1,559,000, representing 5.76%. Consequently, net foreign investment decreased by RO 742,000, which is a 2.74% drop.
