Muscat: The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth is hosting a workshop on managing sports events, specifically tailored for people with disabilities. The initiative, which began today, will continue until February 11, 2026, and is being attended by 30 members from sports committees responsible for the affairs of individuals with disabilities.

According to Oman News Agency, the workshop aims to provide these sports committees with the necessary professional skills to enhance the quality of sports programs and activities. The focus is on empowering athletes with disabilities, showcasing their abilities, and strengthening institutional partnerships between sports establishments and social institutions.

The workshop's program includes lectures on managing sports events and covers technical aspects of forming national teams dedicated to athletes with disabilities.
