Caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, on Tuesday affirmed that 'the situation in the south is not devoid of caution, but matters, God willing, are heading towards some kind of long-term stability.' "Contacts are ongoing in this regard, and I will hold a series of meetings and encounters with many international officials during my participation in the Munich conference next Thursday and Friday, including with Amos Hochstein, to find out where we stand on the path of tranquilizing the situation and restoring stability."
