Caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, on Friday condemned the recent Israeli attack on journalists in Hasbaya, calling it a “new chapter of war crimes” conducted by Israel without international restraint.
The PM asserted that ‘this deliberate assault aims to intimidate the media and obscure ongoing destruction.’
Mikati instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to add this incident to documented Israeli crimes for submission to international bodies, hoping global conscience will act to halt the aggression.
The PM also expressed condolences for the deceased journalists and wished a swift recovery for the injured.
