Kuwaiti rower Soaad Al-Faqaan failed to reach the decisive rounds of 2024 Paris Olympics rowing competition, placing in fourth in the preliminary qualifiers in the women's solo race. Al-Faqaan recorded a time of 8:28.89 minutes in the play-off qualifiers, which were topped by Paraguayan rower Alejandra Alonso Alderete, who recorded a time of 7:57.14 minutes. The rower will now compete for a position in the final rankings, but not for the medals. The rowing competitions were held at the (Vayre-sur-Marne) sea course. Kuwait is participating in the Paris Olympics Games 2024 with nine athletes competing in six games: archery, fencing, swimming, athletics, rowing, and sailing. Source: Kuwait News Agency
