Kuwaiti’s youth handball team lost to South Korea 24-25 in a match held on Sunday in Al-Hussein Youth City in the Jordanian capital, Amman. The match was part of the decisive second round of the 18th Asian Championship, which qualifies teams for the 2025 World Championship in Poland.
The Kuwaiti team exited the second round of the championship with two points, having won against Jordan but lost consecutively to Bahrain and South Korea.
Despite entering the match under significant pressure to secure points for qualification to the next World Cup, the Kuwaiti team delivered an enthusiastic performance with a high level of technical skill.
The match was characterized by competitiveness and excitement, showcasing distinctive technical abilities and strong performances from both teams, as the South Korean team clinched victory in the final minutes of the match.
