Manama, Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Affairs, presented the initial draft of the new Advocacy Law to the Bahrain Bar Society, during a meeting with the Society's president, Salah Ahmed Al Medfaa, and its board members. The Minister emphasised the ministry's commitment to continuing to develop its partnership with the Bahrain Bar Society and the importance of consulting lawyers on the draft law. He said that a ministry team would review all suggestions from lawyers to reflect their objectives in the new law. The Minister highlighted the priority of supporting the legal profession, enhancing professional competitiveness regionally and internationally, and providing top-quality legal services.
