A young Palestinian martyred due to being shot by the Israeli occupation army on Tuesday in Al-Bireh in central West Bank in Palestine, according to Palestinian authorities. The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) quotes security sources as saying that the young martyr, Ahmad Sultan, 20, died after being hit by a bullet during a confrontation with the Israeli occupation forces after they raided the city. According to local sources, the young martyr was from Gaza and lived in the city of Al-Bireh, he was heading to dawn prayers when the occupation forces shot him and wounded him with two bullets in the chest and the abdomen. The occupation forces detained him after shooting him and later handed him over to Palestinian an ambulance after his death, and medical sources added that he was shot at a close range. The Israeli occupation forces stormed the city and raided a number of shops and clashes took place with dozens of young men who threw stones at the military vehicles. This raid coincided with the storming o f the cities of Jericho and Bethlehem in the West Bank, raiding exchange shops and seizing belongings, claiming that the shops were receiving money on behalf of the resistance.
