HM The Sultan to Embark on State Visit to Spain


Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will go on a state-visit to the Kingdom of Spain this Monday.



According to Oman News Agency, a statement was issued by the Diwan of Royal Court confirming the visit. It states: ‘In response to an invitation received by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik from King Felipe VI of the Kingdom of Spain, His Majesty the Sultan will go on a state-visit to Spain during 3-5 November 2025.”



The visit is intended to strengthen the ties of friendship between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Spain, aiming to fulfill the aspirations of both nations. The discussions during the visit will focus on areas of cooperation in various spheres and explore ways to enhance joint interests. Additionally, the visit will address several regional and international developments.



His Majesty the Sultan will be accompanied by a high-ranking official delegation, which includes HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, and other prominent officials.



The statement concluded with a prayer for the safety and wellbeing of His Majesty the Sultan, expressing hopes for his continued role as a source of pride for Oman and its people.
