Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a written message from King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan dealing with bilateral cooperation in various fields.
His Majesty the Sultan received the message when he gave an audience at Al Barakah Palace today to Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The guest conveyed the King of Jordan’s greetings and best wishes of continuous good health and wellbeing to His Majesty the Sultan. The Jordanian King also wished the Omani people further progress and prosperity.
Meanwhile, His Majesty the Sultan asked the guest to convey his greetings and best wishes of good health and wellbeing to the King of Jordan. His Majesty also wished the people of Jordan further development and prosperity.
During the audience, the advance bilateral relations were underscored. The developments of the situation in Palestinian territories and the ceasefire efforts were also d
iscussed.
The audience was attended by Sayyid Badr Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Amjad Jamil Al Quhaiwi, Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Sultanate of Oman and officials from both sides.
