Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today issued Royal Decree No. (49/2026), appointing a new Secretary General for the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs.

According to Oman News Agency, Article (1) of the decree appoints Yaarub bin Abdullah bin Saleh Al Yaarubi as Secretary General for the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs with the special grade. Article (2) states that the decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
