Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today received the credentials of newly appointed ambassadors from four nations at Al Barakah Palace. The ambassadors from Armenia, the Netherlands, Ukraine, and Egypt presented their credentials to His Majesty, marking the beginning of their diplomatic missions in the Sultanate of Oman.
According to Oman News Agency, the ambassadors conveyed warm greetings from their respective leaders to His Majesty the Sultan. They expressed their honor in presenting their credentials and shared their hopes for successful tenures, with the aim of fostering mutual benefits between their countries and Oman.
The ambassadors pledged their commitment to enhancing bilateral relations and increasing investments across various sectors, aiming to achieve shared goals and future visions for their nations and Oman. They expressed their determination to work diligently towards strengthening ties and cooperative ventures.
His Majesty the Sultan extended a warm welcome to the ambassadors, expressing gratitude for the greetings from their leaders. He offered prayers for their success in fulfilling their responsibilities and assured them of the full support from the Omani Government and its people to facilitate their diplomatic duties, aiming to serve the interests of their countries and Oman.
The credential presentation ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials including the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, the Foreign Minister, the Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman, and the Military Aides to His Majesty the Sultan.
