The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation today held its annual meeting with deans of private higher education institutions in the Sultanate of Oman. Held at Al Bayan College, the meeting was chaired by Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. Dr. Rahma said that the meeting was aimed at enhancing efforts to upgrade the educational system, notably by focusing on the quality of education and encouraging institutions to occupy leading positions in international forums and ratings. Two visual displays were presented during the meeting. The first highlighted achievements made by the General Directorate of Private Universities and Colleges. The second, presented by the General Directorate of Scholarships, outlined the programme of postgraduate studies allocated to academics during the current academic year (2024-2025).
