Muscat, The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, in cooperation with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) launched the 5th phase of the national programme to train university students 'Eidaad'. The event was held under the auspices of Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. Moreover, the event also saw the launch of an initiative to align specializations. This initiative aims to equip students and academics with clear visions regarding different jobs and career paths in order to help them take realistic and responsible decisions. Further, a cooperation protocol between the academic and industrial sectors was signed between the Ministry and PDO. It was signed by Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and Dr. Aflah Said Al Hadhrami, CEO of PDO.
