A’dhahirah: The 4th introductory forum of higher education institutions kicked off today in the Governorate of A’Dhahirah, with the participation of 16 academic institutions from government and private higher education institutions. The forum targets students who will sit for the General Education Diploma (GED), parents, and other members of the community.

According to Oman News Agency, the event is being held at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS) in Ibri. The forum provides a briefing about the specializations offered by higher education institutions. The opening ceremony was presided over by Najib Ali Al Rowas, Governor of A’Dhahira.

The Directorate General of Education in A’Dhahirah Governorate is organizing the forum. Its program includes training programs, workshops, and working papers aimed at advising the target students about available technical and professional disciplines. These activities are designed to prepare students to chart their course of higher education study.
