Muscat: HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, today received Maxim Reshetnikov, Russia's Minister of Economic Development, who is currently visiting the Sultanate of Oman. The meeting reviewed areas of economic and investment cooperation between the two friendly nations and discussed ways to enhance them for the mutual benefit of their peoples. The two sides also explored promising opportunities in priority sectors to strengthen economic partnerships and support sustainable development efforts in both countries.

According to Oman News Agency, the discussions between HH Sayyid Theyazin and Minister Reshetnikov focused on leveraging existing economic ties and exploring new avenues for collaboration. Both parties expressed a strong interest in identifying strategic areas where their nations could cooperate more closely, particularly in sectors that promise significant economic returns and contribute to sustainable growth.

The meeting also underscored the importance of building on the solid foundation of the existing bilateral relationship. The two leaders agreed on the necessity of fostering a conducive environment for investment and trade, which would further solidify the economic linkages between Oman and Russia.
