The German government renewed on Friday its call for ending the ongoing war in the besieged Gaza Strip, criticizing Israeli occupation for its 10-month aggression on the Strip. International humanitarian law sets limits to all wars, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said in a statement. Baerbock demanded putting an end to this war that created unsafe areas in the Strip, adding that the parts announced by the Israeli occupation as safe are being targeted. She noted that armies launching wars are required to protect civilians not targeting them. Israeli occupation army announced that 80 percent of Gaza is evacuation areas, she said, elaborating that "Gazans cannot disappear into thin air". The minister stressed the need of resuming talks for a ceasefire based on US President Joe Biden's plan so as to reach a truce. Source: Kuwait News Agency
