Gaza Death Toll Passes 72,000 as Casualties Continue to Mount

Gaza: Medical sources in Gaza have reported that the death toll from the Israeli occupation's aggression on the Strip has risen to 72,344, with 172,242 wounded, since the onset of the offensive on 7 October 2023.

According to Oman News Agency, over the past 24 hours, hospitals in Gaza received eight more bodies and 24 injured individuals. The situation remains dire as the impact of the conflict continues to take a toll on the population.

Since the ceasefire took effect on 11 October 2025, the death toll has increased by 765 and injuries by 2,140, with 760 bodies recovered so far. Many victims remain trapped under rubble or lying on roadsides, as ambulance and rescue teams are still unable to reach them, the sources added.
