Foreign Minister of Oman Engages in Strategic Talks with Angolan Counterpart in Luanda

Luanda: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister of Oman, today engaged in discussions with T©te Ant³nio, Minister of External Relations of Angola, as part of the 50th-anniversary celebrations of Angola's independence. The meeting, held in Luanda, focused on enhancing bilateral relations and exploring opportunities for cooperation in multiple sectors.

According to Oman News Agency, the discussions emphasized strengthening ties in political, economic, and investment fields, with a particular focus on energy, minerals, maritime transport, and logistics services. Both ministers also explored the potential for collaboration in agriculture, education, and diplomatic training. The dialogue underscored the potential for mutual benefit and the importance of economic diversification and international partnerships.

The meeting also served as a follow-up to the visit by Joo Louren§o, President of Angola, to Oman in December 2024, which marked a significant milestone in bilateral relations. Both parties recognized the need to build on the achievements of that visit, which had expanded cooperation and communication between governmental and private sectors.

Both ministers stressed the importance of ongoing coordination between their respective Foreign Ministries to enhance existing cooperation and explore new areas of interest. They also agreed on the necessity of exchanging views on regional and international issues to support stability and development on a broader scale.
