Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, announced that the US-Iran talks in Muscat today revealed a mutual desire to reach an agreement founded on mutual respect and long-lasting commitments.
According to Oman News Agency, Sayyid Badr highlighted that core principles, objectives, and technical concerns were thoroughly addressed during the discussions. He confirmed that the talks are set to continue next week, with a high-level meeting tentatively scheduled for May 3rd.
Dr. Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, expressed his satisfaction with the progress made in the third round of talks with the United States. He noted that both parties exhibited seriousness and determination throughout the discussions. Dr. Araghchi also mentioned that the Sultanate of Oman will soon announce the location for the fourth round of negotiations.
