Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, received Majid Takht Ravanchi, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, during his visit to Oman to participate in the 11th round of political consultations between the two nations.

According to Oman News Agency, the meeting focused on the existing relations between Oman and Iran, underscoring a mutual commitment to advancing cooperation and partnership to benefit joint interests. Discussions also included regional and international developments, with both parties stressing the significance of ongoing coordination and dialogue on various issues.

Both sides expressed support for efforts aimed at resolving conflicts through dialogue and peaceful means, contributing to the foundations of security and stability. They also highlighted the prospects for achieving a just and comprehensive peace in the region.
