Muscat: The 5th edition of a GCC business collaboration exhibition codenamed ‘Takatuf’ kicked off in Muscat today. More than 140 designers and entrepreneurs from GCC states are taking part in the 3-day exhibition, which reflects the aptitude of GCC innovations to meet market needs.
According to Oman News Agency, the exhibition is organized as a collaborative partnership aimed to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs). It is a combination of efforts undertaken by Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), the SMEs Development Authority (Riyada), and establishments of the public and private sectors.
The exhibition deals with successful marketing strategies and administrative and financial management of projects. It showcases successful models and experiences that originated from previous editions of ‘Takatuf’, offering inspiring success stories to be emulated by entrepreneurs and owners of emerging startups.
‘Takatuf’ exhibition serves as a platform that supports entrepreneurs, promotes cooperation among GCC states, and contributes to the development of the national economy.
