Egyptian President Abdulfattah Al-Sisi and UAE President Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Thursday discussed joint efforts to end violence in Sudan and bring warring parties back to dialogue.
This came in a phone conversation between both leaders as part of the two countries’ support for the Sudanese people, Presidential Spokesman Ahmad Fahmi said in a press statement.
He underlined the joint efforts of Egypt and the UAE to achieve the Sudanese people’s expectations of security, stability and development in this violence-hit Arab country.
Both leaders also exchanged greetings and congratulations on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.
