Muscat: The Arab Republic of Egypt expressed support for the Sultanate of Oman's initiative to host discussions between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America. According to Oman News Agency, Egypt emphasized its full backing for Oman's sincere efforts and all initiatives aimed at achieving political solutions through dialogue. This stance aligns with Egypt's longstanding belief that military solutions are ineffective for the crises facing the region and that escalating tensions only worsen the situation.
