Muscat, The Ministry of Defence today launched

a number of software programs.

The launching ceremony was held at the theater of the Ministry

of Defence Pension Fund under the patronage of Dr. Mohammed Nasser

al-Zaabi, Secretary General at the Ministry of Defence.

During the event, Brigadier Yahya Said al-Wadhahi, head of the

project’s guidance committee gave a speech, in which he affirmed that

the project was accomplished by Omani cadres from the Ministry of

Defence.

He further added that the project comes as per the government’s

digital transformation.

The ceremony was attended by the retired minister Mohamed Nasser

al-Rasbi, Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis al-Raisi, Chief of Staff of the

Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), Maj. Gen Mattar Salim al-Balushi,

Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO), Air Vice Marshal Khamis

Hamad al-Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) and

Acting Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), as well as a number

of senior officers from SAF and other military and security unites.
