Muscat: Maj. Gen Mohammed Abdulrahman Al Ruwais, Commander of the Peninsula Shield Force, and his accompanying military delegation today visited the Military Technological College. Upon his arrival at the college headquarters, the guest was received by Brigadier Ahmed Khalfan Al Hadidi, Dean of the Military Technological College.

According to Oman News Agency, during the visit, the Commander of the Peninsula Shield Force was briefed on the college's educational mission, its academic curriculum, and the advanced technologies and educational tools it is equipped with. The visit highlighted the institution's efforts to provide cutting-edge training and education to its students.

Moreover, the Commander of the Peninsula Shield Force visited the Maritime Security Centre. He was received by Commodore Adil Hamoud Al Busaidi, Head of the Maritime Security Centre. During this visit, the Commander was briefed on the roles of the Maritime Security Center and its efforts in maintaining the security and safety of the environment and navigation within the maritime zones of the Sultanate of Oman. He was also introduced to the center's facilities and the modern technologies and systems used in its operations.
