BAIT AL FALAJ CAMP: Maj. Gen. Hamid Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies, welcomed a delegation from the Royal Jordanian Command and Staff College (RJCSC) at his office in Bait Al Falaj Camp. The delegation was led by Brig. Tariq Khalaf Al Hajaya, Commander of the RJCSC, as part of their current visit to the Sultanate of Oman. The meeting focused on matters of mutual interest, particularly in the academic domain.
According to Oman News Agency, the discussions included senior officers from the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies, alongside Air Commodore Abdullah Fayez Al Dhafri, Director General of Administrative and Financial Affairs, and Commodore Khalid Amer Al Salti, Director General of Studies and Academic Affairs. The Military Attach© of Jordan's Embassy in Muscat was also present during the discussions.
The Jordanian delegation continued their visit with a stop at the National Defence College (NDC) within the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies. Upon their arrival, they were received by Brigadier Mansoor Ali Al Amri, Acting Commandant of the NDC. The delegation was briefed on the college's facilities and strategic curriculum, which is designed to develop national competencies for strategic decision-making at various levels. The delegation toured the NDC's departments and halls to gain a comprehensive understanding of its offerings.
Additionally, the delegation visited the Joint Command and Staff College (CSC) at the Academy. They were welcomed by the Acting Commandant of the CSC and were briefed on the college's general curriculum and facilities, further enriching their understanding of the academic and strategic training provided by the Academy.
