London: UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced a cabinet reshuffle following the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner. As part of the changes, Yvette Cooper was appointed Foreign Secretary, while her predecessor David Lammy assumed the posts of Deputy Prime Minister and Justice Secretary.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Shabana Mahmood was appointed Home Secretary with responsibility for key files, including illegal migration. Further appointments were made in the ministries of environment, business, housing, work and pensions.
