Caretaker Minister of Industry, George Boujikian, on Thursday welcomed a delegation representing the Arab League and the General Union of Arab Producers.
The delegation briefed Boujikian on the preparations underway to open a new headquarters for the Union in Beirut.
The meeting also discussed cooperation possibilities between the Ministry and the Union within the field of production, photography, montage, etc… which fall within the framework of the media and culture industry.
For his part, Boujikian expressed his full support for the Union, lauding the “Lebanese and Arab creativity in the soap opera industry, which has spread widely in the region and across the world.”
