House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Monday received at the Second Presidency in Ain El-Tineh, the United Nations Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator in Lebanon, Imran Riza.
Discussions reportedly touched on the United Nations programs in Lebanon, especially in the humanitarian domain.
Speaker Berri also received Acting Director General of General Security, Brigadier General Elias Baissari, accompanied by a delegation of senior officers of the General Directorate of General Security.
The delegation offered well-wishes to the Speaker on the occasion of the New Year and the holy Holidays.
Berri later received the Director General of State Security, Major General Tony Saliba, in the presence of Deputy Director General, Brigadier General Hassan Choucair.
