House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Wednesday met with UN Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations, Jean-Pierre Lacroix, and his accompanying delegation at the Second Presidency in Ain el-Tineh. The meeting, attended by UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, and UNIFIL Commander Major General, Aroldo Lázaro, focused on the latest political and security developments in Lebanon and the region amid continued Israeli aggression on Gaza and Lebanon.
