According to Oman News Agency, Lamine Yamal converted a 40th-minute penalty to secure the only goal of the game, earning the Catalans three precious points at the Camp Nou.

The win lifted Barcelona to 82 points, restoring their nine-point cushion over Real Madrid, who beat Deportivo Alav©s 2-1 in the same round.

Celta Vigo, meanwhile, slumped to a third straight defeat, leaving them stuck on 44 points in seventh place - ahead of sixth-placed Getafe only on goal difference.
