Bagheri consults with his Jordanian and Egyptian counterparts on regional developments, Safadi heads to Tehran today

The head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ali Bagheri Kani, announced that he had consulted with the foreign ministers of Egypt and Jordan on developments in the region and the Gaza Strip.

“Tasnim International” news agency reported that Ali Bagheri Kani said in a post on the X platform: “Tonight, in response to the phone call between the foreign ministers of Jordan and Egypt, which was the second phone call between us in the past 48 hours, we exchanged views on the process of developments in the region, and the three of us emphasized the continuation of consultations between the countries of the region.”

Bagheri Kani pointed out that “the situation in the West Asia region is particularly sensitive due to the continued crimes and dangerous adventures of the criminal gang ruling Tel Aviv.”

He added: “The Islamic countries of the region must prevent the continuation of the genocide in Gaza and the expansion of the Zionist entity’s aggression in the region by adopting a unified and decisive stance and coordin
ated measures,” stressing that “Iran’s determination to hold the entity accountable is serious.”

According to Tasnim News Agency, Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi will head to Tehran today to meet with Iranian officials and hold talks with them.
