BEIRUT: Lebanese Army Chief, General Joseph Aoun, on Friday met at his Yarze office with UNIFIL Commander, Major General Aroldo Lázaro: Discussions reportedly touched on developments along the southern border in light of the ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon. They also emphasized continued cooperation and coordination between the army and the peacekeeping force.

According to National news agency – Lebanon, the meeting underscored the importance of maintaining stability in the region amidst escalating tensions. Both leaders discussed strategies to enhance joint efforts in monitoring the border area and ensuring the safety of local communities.
