Al Abrawi elaborated that the complex spans over 60,000 sqm of industrial workshops designed to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs). A consultancy project is underway aimed at enhancing infrastructure, particularly focusing on addressing rainwater accumulation in surrounding areas by constructing new alternative roads to access some leased lands.

Future projects approved include the redevelopment of the commercial area to expand retail capacity, an integrated project to bolster food security in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, and a sustainable wastewater recycling initiative to support industrial cooling and manufacturing operations within Al Rusayl Industrial City. In 2024, Madayn completed the modernization of the ind

In addition, the Masar Service Centre in Al Rusayl Industrial City is pivotal in streamlining investment procedures by providing a unified platform for obtaining necessary permits and licenses. The centre offers comprehensive support services, including consulting, financing, banking, medical checks, postal services, and marketing and promotion, thus fostering an investor-friendly business environment in the Sultanate of Oman.
