Al Mazyunah:The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning has signed an agreement to construct a new residential complex comprising 21 housing units in the Habrut Triangle area within the Wilayat of Al Mazyunah, Dhofar Governorate. The project is valued at RO 904,123.
According to Oman News Agency, the initiative is supported financially by the Energy Sector Social Responsibility Development Foundation (Rikan), in collaboration with the Oman Charitable Organization.
The agreement was signed by Eng. Khalfan bin Masoud Al Naabi, Director General of Housing and Urban Planning in Dhofar Governorate, and Eng. Mohammed bin Ali Al Shanfari, Project Executive Director and Acting CEO of the Rikan Foundation. The construction of the project is planned to be completed within two years, with the housing units expected to be available to eligible families by late 2028.
Each unit in the complex will cover a built-up area of 199 square meters. The designs of the homes are created to maintain the privacy of Omani families and are in harmony with the local environment, while ensuring that essential facilities are provided to meet adequate living standards.
