Nairobi:South A'Sharqiyah South A'Sharqiyah Municipal Council held its eighth meeting of the year, led by Dr. Yahya Badr Al Maawali, Governor of South A'Sharqiyah and Chairman of the Council. The meeting focused on various social and development topics alongside investment opportunities in the region.
According to Oman News Agency, the council examined a proposal to invest in and operate Al Ashkharah Waterfront. This initiative aims to enhance tourism infrastructure and bolster economic activities in the area. Additionally, the council reviewed a request to convert several land plots from residential to residential-commercial use.
The council also deliberated on plans related to paving service locations and constructing health pathways, with an emphasis on serving the community and improving the quality of life in the governorate.
