Muscat:The Competitions Committee of the Oman Handball Association has announced that the second round of the Indoor Youth Handball League for the 2026/2027 sports season will commence on 14 November. This round will feature four clubs that advanced from the first round of the competition.
According to Oman News Agency, Muscat Club emerged as the leader of Group One with 10 points, followed by Nizwa Club with 8 points. In Group Two, Oman Club secured the top position with a full tally of 10 points, while A'Seeb Club finished second, also with 8 points.
The upcoming fixtures for the second round will see Muscat Club competing against A'Seeb Club, and Oman Club facing Nizwa Club. These matches will determine the two finalists who will compete for the league title. The competition format mandates that each pair of teams will play on a two-match basis. In the event of a tie in points and goal difference, the teams will proceed to penalty shootouts directly, skipping extra time. The teams that do not advance will play against each other to decide the third and fourth place positions, while the winners will move on to the final round to vie for the championship.
