Muscat:His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received a written message from General Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of the Republic of Sudan. The message focuses on the fraternal relations between Oman and Sudan.
According to Oman News Agency, the message was delivered to Sayyid Khalid Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, during a meeting with Dr. Gibril Ibrahim, Sudan’s Minister of Finance and Envoy of the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council.
The meeting included discussions on the bilateral relations between Oman and Sudan and explored ways to enhance these relations for mutual benefit. Also present at the meeting were Issam Awad Ahmed Mutwali, Ambassador of the Republic of the Sudan to the Sultanate of Oman, Abdel Azim Mohamed Sadiq, Director General of the Department of Arab and Asian Affairs at Sudan’s Foreign Ministry, and Major General Awad Mohamed Ahmed Abu Zaid, Second Deputy Director General of Sudan’s General Security and Intelligence Service.
