Muscat:The Sultanate of Oman is set to host the World Military Beach Volleyball Championship, known as ‘Muscat 2026’, with the event commencing on Friday, 16 October 2026.
According to Oman News Agency, the championship will feature teams from eight countries, with Oman being represented by the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) Command. The event will continue until 22 October.
The championship will be held at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher. It is part of the International Military Sports Council’s (CISM) program, an organization that includes more than 140 nations and aims to promote athletic competition, friendship, and peace among the armed forces of its member states.
