Muscat: The completion rate of the development project for Harat Misfat Al Abriyyin in the Wilayat of Al Hamra, A'Dakhiliyah Governorate, has reached 39 percent, with a total cost exceeding RO 810,000. The project aims to improve public services, encourage domestic tourism, and enhance the Wilayat's standing as a distinctive tourist destination, thereby contributing to increased economic returns from tourism activities.

According to Oman News Agency, Misfat Al Abriyyin continues to consolidate its position as one of the most prominent tourist destinations in A'Dakhiliyah Governorate in particular and the Sultanate of Oman in general. The project, executed by the Governorate of A'Dakhiliyah, includes several tourism and development components aimed at enhancing visitor experience and preserving the heritage identity of Harat Misfat Al Abriyyin.

The development efforts comprise constructing a glass bridge connecting the entrance to the valley area, a walkway fitted with pedestrian protective barriers, along with paving pathways and installing heritage lighting. These features are designed to attract more visitors while maintaining the area's traditional charm.

Additionally, the project includes adding directional signage containing a facility map and creating dedicated parking spaces for vehicles. These improvements are expected to facilitate easier access and navigation for tourists, thereby boosting the site's appeal as a must-visit location.
