Muscat: Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF), received today at his office in Al Murtafa'a Camp, Maj. Gen Salman Ibrahim Al Fadhala, Assistant Secretary-General for Military Affairs at the GCC Secretariat General, and his accompanying delegation.

According to Oman News Agency, the meeting involved discussions on several topics, with a review of existing military cooperation between the Sultan's Armed Forces and the Military Affairs department at the Secretariat General of the GCC.

The two sides also took the opportunity to exchange views on several matters of mutual interest, emphasizing the importance of maintaining and strengthening military ties in the region.
