Muscat: The number of confirmed Ebola cases in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has risen to 544, the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention said today. A presentation by the Africa CDC showed that 515 of those cases were recorded in Ituri province, the epicentre of the current outbreak.
According to Oman News Agency, confirmed Ebola deaths in the country stand at 88, the centres said. Government data released on Sunday put confirmed cases at 515 and deaths at 91.
